Darby and Josie came to us 20 minutes before police arrived to cart them off for euthanization. They were rescued from a hoarder home where the two of them lived among dozens of cats. These siblings are now safely in the home of a Citizen Canine Senior foster. They have been medically vetted, got their teeth done, and are good to go. They are both sweet dogs. Darby is a little shy at the beginning. But then he melts like an M&M in summertime. He loves his sister and always watches out to make sure she's nearby. Josie is syrup on steroids from the start. She wastes no time and cuddles right up to you, stat! Both of these sweethearts are unfortunately overweight, but we've started them on a weight management diet. They're both good with other dogs. Darby will give them an excited bark that might look threatening because of her size. But it's just playful bluster. Josie just waddles along. Their living situation with so many cats makes us confident that they get along with cats. We have also seen them around dogs in a crowded vet waiting room. They just watched the pooch traffic go by, though Darby talked back to the two dogs in the waiting room that barked at her. These siblings are 2 scoops of pure love. AND, bonus, they're housebroken. Step right up and love on them.
