Pepper is a small, slender fella, about 7 lbs in weight. He was very sad to leave papa but has turned the corner and has settled into life in a foster home with a slightly older doggie-gal. While they're not likely to hold paws and run off into the sunset, they do the next best thing for new doggie companions: ignore each other! Pepper is hopelessly affectionate, your classic velcro dog. He'll cuddle you to smooshy bits and prompt you to not stop when you think you're done with petting. Remember, that this young guy does not shed--he has hair! He's not thrilled about being left alone but with a small dose of a sedative, he is able to settle down and relax. As far as housebreaking, Pepper can put his tinkle and turd-ette where they belong as long as he is taken out consistently and regularly, which for Pepper is at least 6 times a day. But he is also perfectly content to wear a belly-band, which is the male version of a diaper and simply wraps around the waist covering his penis. In the ideal world, Pepper would live in a home where there is an enclosed backyard and he could easily be let out for his many "business" trips. Retirees and homebodies welcome!
