Although Rishell appears to have Beagle in her, she seems to be missing the infamous Beagle howl. In fact, the only time she ever barks is when she sees a dog approaching. She'll also whine when she needs something. Rishell's body resembles that of 2 boys in a trench coat but this mature little lady never gets herself into any trouble. Her pimples and bowed legs don't bother her whatsoever and just add to her charm and quirky style. As far as basic bodily functions, Rishell is fully potty trained (longer than any dog or human we've ever met), but sometimes you do have to carry her outside to do her business. With regard to sleep, Rishell is a lump on the log and you can find her curled up in your bed until your bedtime, where she will then sleep her preferred 20 hours while cradling in your legs. But this sleepy head also rises to the occasion of any adventure--especially if it involves a car. Rishell is a true ride-along dog. She loves attention even though her initial reaction is apathy. She's sure to be the beloved regular at any local establishment, surveying tables or relaxing under your legs or on your lap for hours. 26 pounds may be pushing it for a lap dog but that won't stop her from begging for "uppies" to be carried in your arms. Finally, where food is concerned, Rishell has given a whole new meaning to 'we eat to live, not live to eat.' She just casually grazes over the entire course of a day-- unless there's tuna juice involved or popcorn off any one of the many bar floors she visits on her adventures.
Rishell is fully kid and cat tested but prefers to not share her cuddles with another dog. Her fosters believe she could be integrated into a pack with other dogs but only if someone is knowledgeable and willing to put the work in. I'm not sure Rishel would be happy about that but it's definitely possible.
