Bentley and Daisy's story is sad and age-old in our rescue. They lost their owner to dementia and a memory care facility, after an entire life of being loved and lavished. In their foster home, Bentley and Daisy have shown themselves to be remarkably resilient in their openness to accept love and joy in the hands of a foster couple. Daisy has been the big surprise in their rescue. She was supposed to be demure and timid, dependent on the protective instincts of her more spunky brother. But, now, just get out of her way. She trots around, carefree with no nevermind about where her brother is, of course, up to a point. These pooches still look for each other and only settle into their sleeping spots once they know the other is at their side. Bentley and Daisy's housebreaking status is being assessed in their fosters' home. In their previous home, they were limited to their crate and only came out to do their business and to eat. All this is to say, they did not used to have much opportunity for having accidents. So, we're in a stay-tuned status about this. We are supervising their housebreaking while they are being fostered. The pups are also scheduled to have the dentals on April 16th, 2024.
