Available Senior Citizen Canines
In this section, you will find our available senior Citizen Canines. These senior dogs are ready to join a foster home or a happily-ever-after home.
Be sure to take the time to carefully read all about the senior dog that is of interest to you before you make a decision to foster or adopt. Remember, your foster or adoptive relationship is going to be as successful as the fit between your interests and those of our senior Citizen Canine. |
COMING SOON
Before our senior dogs are made available for adoption, we fully vet them, bringing them up to date on vaccinations, testing for heartworm and parasites, getting bloodwork done, and microchipping and registering with a microchip service.

Gunny, an 11-year-old Vizsla mix, & Leah, a 12-year-old Alaskian Klee-Kai (both in 30 lb. range) are in a desperately sad situation. They are currently living all alone. Their owner died November 2, 2023 after a traumatic and painful fight with a terminal illness. His loving parents promised him that they would find his 2 babies a good home and they have spent every hour since then searching, reaching out to rescue after rescue and exploring any person who responded to their plea in any way. They have come up without a single solution. The two lovely dogs have a sweet nature but they do not get along with any other pets. Their grandparents have pets of their own so can't take them. They need a loving owner anywhere in the United States who can take 2 wonderful dogs. They are bonded and can't be separated. They must be the only pets in the home. They are huge people lovers and would be wonderful companions and lifelong friends.
