Billy is a sweet mush! He is also very industrious and believes that it is his job to lavish his family with lots of love. And he does it with gusto! He is 10 years old. Billy is currently in a foster home with three children, one of which is deaf and happens to be Billy's personal favorite. Billy's ideal home is one that has children. He lives for them. He spends every morning cuddling with them then sends them off to school and then waits for the school bus to bring them back to him for after-school nuzzling. Billy comes with some aches and pains. He has kidney and thyroid conditions, but they are managed well with kidney food and thyroid medication. Also, he can be a little anxious. He might whine, pace, and bark when he is in a new environment, but this lasts just for the first few days until he adjusts. He also needs to be the only pet because he becomes anxious around animals. Billy is a big guy in a small package and comes in at 65 lbs. This extra weight makes him very strong, so whoever handles Billy should also be strong. But what helps is the fact that Billy Boy moves at a very slow pace. Billy is a combination of many different breeds with the only identifiable being Chinese Shar Pei. Whatever the combination, it produced a sweet and gentle temperament and the kind patience to deal with happy-go-lucky, eager, pet-loving children.
