Buddy and Jazzy, 10-year-old sibs, came to us as an emergency case. They had 2 days to go before being euthanized or surrendered to animal control because their owner just didn't want them anymore. We were able to buy 2 more days to find a foster or adopter. Two days later, on a Sunday, Buddy and Jazz joined their foster's home and her other two big dogs--nearly 300 collective pounds. Jazzy, the female, is demure and sweet. She looks for loving and revels in it when she gets it. Her vet visit and bloodwork revealed no problems other than an ear infection, credited to brother Buddy, who likes to lick her ears. Buddy is also sweet, though a bit more reserved. He has a booming voice when he barks. While his bloodwork came back as solidly as his sister's, he is a little lumpy in places. Two of these will soon be removed along with his ability to father puppies.
