This is sweet little Coco, a 10-year-old, 22 lb., Shih Tzu. She was raised from about a year old by her dad. He now has Multiple Sclerosis and can no longer care for her. It is obvious that she has been very well cared for. She has a very sweet personality. She is adorable beyond description. She becomes attached very quickly. She is currently living with a small brood of high-strung Chihuahuas and quickly joined their pack. She is gentle and mellow. She is not a complainer, except maybe when you are out of her sight. Then once she hears your voice, she calms right down. When you are not home, she complains a bit but then calms down and goes to sleep. She is fully housebroken. As for her health, Coco gets a gold star. She does, however, have two disabilities. She is 90% blind. Her foster said Coco has adapted very well in her home and gets around fine. She also had ACL surgery on both rear legs but did not fully recover on her rear right leg. She gets around just fine but tends to avoid putting weight on that leg. Otherwise, our girl is the whole package.
