Finn & Bella are 9-year-old West Highland White Terrier siblings. Sister Bella, 16 pounds, is the more reserved of the sibling set. She’s more of a lounger with a mellow, low-energy personality. She's a total lap dog once she warms up to you. And once she does that, she wants her tummy and body rubbed. Or she’s happy to sit at your feet. Brother Finn is 18 pounds and is definitely the more excitable of the two. He is playful, will chase a ball, and even likes to wrestle. But he also likes snuggling and being a lap dog, in general.
Both Finn and Bella respond well in their interactions with other dogs, but Finn is intimidated by bigger dogs. Both of these seniors are not fully housebroken. Housebreaking has started with them in their new foster home. Both dogs’ bloodwork came back excellent. Finn had a blip on his bloodwork related to allergies. Finn’s allergies cause him to lose hair from his chest to his stomach. Upon joining our rescue, Finn was evaluated by our vet who formulated a very comprehensive treatment plan for him that was started immediately. Finally, Finn and Bella must be adopted together. They are very close and rely on each other a lot. |
