John got a tough break twice. First it was with his original owner who fell on hard times and gratefully found a friend who would watch John for a short time. A short time turned into 2 years. The patient friend just got a nursing job that requires her to be away for 60 hours a week. This kind of alone time is too much to ask for John. He is super sweet and loving. He is also very easy going. He will interact with other dogs calmly. He is great with kids, super agreeable, and flexible. John's only vice is counter surfing but this could be trained out of him. The big ol' sweet is raring to go to a new home.
