SO READY FOR A NEW HOME!
Linus
Linus is a is sweet, mellow, loving and loyal 9-year-old  Pekinese/Shih Tzu  mix. He's cute and easygoing. He likes to sleep in his little bed, relax on the couch next to a friendly human, or sunbathe in the backyard. Linus is completely  housebroken. He adores people. He attaches very quickly and adapts quickly to his situation. He will follow you around and drop at your feet or climb on your lap when you come to a stop. He is big-time into cuddling, in return for back or belly scratches.  As for animals, he gets along with other dogs, preferably female dogs, but not with cats. Children are ok too, if they are not too young. For example, Linus will not do well with the toddler who tries to climb on him or yank his tail or ears. With the child who understands boundaries do better. For example, Linus was observed with a 5-year-old, who respected Linus' space and they got along famously.

Like most dogs, Linus has his imperfections. He can get kind of barky when he’s bored, wants to go for a walk, or simply misses you. And even though this is not a regular occurrence, he also barks when other dogs are approaching. Also, at times, his excitability gets the better of him and if you try to physically restrain him or grab him unexpectedly from behind, he might react with a bite. This is the part where, you, as the owner, must establish yourself as the “pack leader.” Take his leash and remove him from the situation and you’re good to go.

We think his positives far outweigh the negatives. What gets you is the love and loyalty he shows and, of course, the way he shows this with his big, brown, beautiful eyes.
