Miles has lost his spot in the family over the development over his human sister's severe allergies. He was being confined to the kitchen of the family home to protect her from her sensitivity to his skin and fur. He has his own allergies, to boot. But they are very separated and have a pattern of appearing every 3 years or so. He was so very sad when we met him. He has been with his foster family for 2 days and in that short time, his depression has begun to lift. He is being cared for by two doting foster moms and a little Dachshund, who is also named Miles. Miles gets along just fine with his little Miles-buddy. But don't ask Miles to be around little ankle-biting puppies who just want to jump around and play. That chaos is not for him. Miles is a gracious, well-mannered guest in his foster home. He likes the peace and freedom of his new temporary home. But he is eager to settle into a new family, where he can just find a place to nap with his family nearby.
