Spengler is 12 years old and 25 lbs. He is losing his life-long home to a toddler who has developed allergies. Three of the pictures above show him in his home for several weeks now, the laundry room. Spengler's confinement is sad. He needs a home ASAP. Our volunteer who took him to the vet said that he is truly one of the sweetest dogs she's ever known. For his senior age, Spengler is very spry and athletic. He likes all manner of play, tug, fetch, and running around in the yard. Most of all, Spengler loves cuddling on the couch with his humans and can get a little anxious when he's not around them at home. He does great with older kids and adults. He also does ok with some dogs, but shows no clear pattern. He is housebroken and he got a gold star on his health report card. His dad says that the kind of home that Spengler needs is with a single person or a couple of any age, with or without older kids, who would enjoy daily walks and lounging on the couch.
