A Tica collage!
Hello there! My name is Tica and I am 16 years old, but many of my little human friends like to call me Teacup. My sad story is that I have escaped the execution block twice, both from owners who simply could not keep me. I never understand why anyone would want to get rid of me, all I want is their love. I am potty pad trained, but my current foster mom doesn’t believe in potty pads and is actively training me for outside potty only. I am pretty smart, catching on quick and like to show that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. I am also loving that I now have a backyard and love to spend much time out there, but not as much as I love following my human around during inside chores. It’s just so interesting! I am a lap dog and just want to be with my human, ALL of the time. I really don’t like it when they leave me alone or when I can’t have the opportunity to cuddle with them. I have been temperament tested with several different dogs and cats- big, small, and medium. I love being around them all as long as the other animal is accepting of me and I am not in a stressful situation. I also love little kids! They have little legs that move fast, just like me. I love to interact and watch them play. All I ask is that they play nice and be kind to me, as I am just a small girl myself. My recent vet visit had me leaving like a day in the spa. I had a full dental and got spayed. I was also given more medicine for my heart murmur and my arthritis. I can’t wait to feel the safety of a forever home! Please help make my third shot at a permanent home real and not another threat to my life.
